Design Challenge

As a new and growing company, Cann + Botl needed cohesive, high-quality design support across multiple marketing channels—ranging from B2B and programmatic campaigns to social media, email, and real-world activations—to strengthen brand identity and meet sales targets.

Solution

As the inaugural designer, I built and extended the brand’s visual and illustrative language across print and digital platforms. I developed creative assets for marketing, sales materials, and campaigns, ensuring consistency and impact across all touch-points to help the team meet quarterly goals.

B2B creative visuals

Design Challenge

Typical B2B creative often struggles to capture attention or feel engaging, making it difficult for campaigns to stand out and connect emotionally with audiences.

Solution

We created a narrative-driven approach anchored by the brand’s mascot. Each design tied the mascot’s story to the campaign headline, turning standard visuals into relatable mini stories that captured attention and reinforced the brand’s message.

Email

Design Challenge

How can we make our email marketing feel so engaging it grabs attention instantly—almost like hearing from a bold, overconfident ex?

Solution

We used storytelling as our secret weapon. By leaning into the brand’s colorful packaging and expressive mascot, we crafted playful narratives that turned each email into a mini story—something entertaining enough to keep users clicking and coming back for more.

Social Media

Design Challenge

How can Cann educate new consumers about its unique, alcohol-alternative experience while continuing to engage and give back to the Black community through its social media presence?

Solution

Through its social media channels, Cann combined education and community engagement. Seasonal campaigns introduced new products and showcased real consumers, while dedicated content amplified the brand’s ongoing support for the Black community and its mission-driven values.

Programmatic ads

Design Challenge’

Cann’s programmatic ads needed to capture attention while staying true to the brand’s playful, elevated identity. The challenge was figuring out how to balance storytelling, design, and performance to connect with diverse audiences.

Solution

We A/B tested three creative styles—text-based, illustration-based, and photo-based—to see what resonated most. The results shaped a refined, scalable approach for future campaigns.

How can we make Cann stand out at job fairs while spotlighting its unique ingredients and celebrating the diversity behind the brand’s Pride campaign?

Solution

We created a vibrant activation using bold visuals, storytelling, and influencer presence to bring Cann’s inclusive spirit and colorful identity to life.
